The Hajj Awards 2018 Launched in Parliament

CBHUK (The Council of British Hajjis) last Tuesday launched the Annual Hajj Awards  2018 & Gala Dinner in the Houses of Parliament.   At a time when the industry has had negative press owing to unscrupulous agents, the Council recognises the hard work and Excellence amongst the Licensed Hajj & Umrah Organisers and the importance of portraying a positive image.

Baydaa Shakir, Events Manager for the Hajj Awards said “following on from the success of last years event, there was a real desire from the industry that we host this event again.  It shows that there is real competition in the UK Hajj & Umrah market to raise standards and deliver exceptional service to pilgrims undertaking the Journey of faith  (Hajj & Umrah) and we should reward them for it”.

The event is sponsored by Saudia (Saudi Arabian Airlines) and will welcome International guests as well as the UK Hajj & Umrah sector and partners.
